Club Senses... Reawakening

"So many were very sad when Senses closed their doors. This happens in the Verse, as in real life and is simply the way things go. But on Friday, June 26Th, Club Senses reawakened and to so many, a very happy day in the Verse indeed."

New owner Dj_Tawni_Prim_SO rocked the grand reopening of Club Senses and it was a great start to be sure! Even Hugh Hefner showed up to add to the celeb list and of course, was his wonderful self, ever the gentleman, but he does know how to party. The club has been redecorated and it's got a very sophisticated feel to it, yet enough remains of the past to make folks feel comfortable and at home. The staff and regulars are so welcoming and accommodating in helping every guest to feel glad they came in the door and to guide everyone around the place. All in all, while it took some turns in the past, I say the future for Club Senses "is so bright I gotta wear shades" heheheee.

Though the back you will find the entrance to Club Senses Beach with a grand boardwalk to a massive sail type covered pier that looks like it would hold a thousand and one of the biggest dance floors I've seen in quite a while. The view, of course is amazing, with waterfalls, a sail type covered bar and dance area on the beach, and truly makes you want to spend much time either on the beach itself, splashing in the water and of course, dancing the night away on the pier.

I thoroughly enjoyed being at their opening and if you love great music, fun people and a very welcome and loving attitude from staff, this is the place to check out and soon! I see only great things coming and I got hints as to new and fun things in the near future, so make sure to get on their friends lists and be kept up on coming events and parties.

Folks, I was all but done writing my article on this venues grand opening and just needed to get a bit more info to finish it. I went into Club Senses last night to find DJ_Tawni_Prim_SO and she said port to me, I want to show you something. Well, my eyes could not believe what I saw;

I landed on top of... I'm not sure what, but it was truly amazing to say the least, and yesss it was spinning and quite magical;

As I gazed around I saw, yes a beach, but on a mountain lake, there fireworks bursting in the night sky (She told me those were only for Canada Day and through the fourth of July.) and below me was a manicured walkway lined with streetlights all with hanging baskets of flowers. As we went wandering, the sights around me were truly amazing and I found myself in a huge romantic park, with walkways, benches, trees with colored twinkling lights in them. There were picnic tables with blankets for comfort and even a couple of tents for the more intimate meetings.

There was a large water feature in the middle of the park that while it is a showpiece, was just enough. There were swings in trees and even fairy seats in the branches. I found hidden areas for couples to wander in and get "lost" and so much more. I was truly astonished and so glad that I went back in right away.

This part of Club Senses is called; Club Senses Environments. Now, while the ocean style beach is gone for now, it won't always be. Yet another twist coming from this intriguing lady's mind, there will be different set of scenery's in Environments at different times. An ever changing cavalcade of environments to keep it fresh and new. To this end she told me; "I am finding RLC's hottest prop editors and giving them a chance to showcase their work.""And as you can see I am all about quality, yet we're making very effort to keep lag minimized as well. Very challenging. Also, while the particular enviroment is in place, the designers link is on it so you can look at their profiles."

This place is also, as she told me and you can plainly see, about romance. "I want this place for people to be able to actually go on a date. Take some time to relax, get to know each other, you know.. then they can jump into bed." Trust me dear readers, this venue does exude romance and plenty of cozy "off the path" areas to find yourselves in and create that deep intimacy and magical moments. She went on to say about her vision for Club Senses; "Class, elegance, romance and fun, all wrapped up in a beautiful package." And her goal for their "reawakening", quite simply; "To make this the premiere venue in Virtual Vancouver if not the entire Utherverse." I say lofty goals, but from one very motivated person, so watch out Verse, she's on a roll and make no mistake, this venue is really going places!

I asked her what one thing above the rest, as she is undertaking such a huge project, did she want to the residents of the verse to know, she replied;"Well, I guess that it really all comes down to the people, and I really do have some of the best staff here.. all friendly and helpful.."that" is what truly makes this place special." Well, as I said above, the staff, and even other patrons, certainly make you feel more than welcome and are truly about making sure each guest finds everything and has a grand time.

The future holds many grand and wonderful secrets, I am sure and as she said; "Well, I hope to continue to bring new surprises in Environments to suit the "senses" and cater to all the various role-players... whatever their play." All I will add to this is that trust me, add these folks to your lists so you can get their bulletins and keep coming back as this wonderful place is just too much fun. WOW, Virtual Vancouver is truly bursting at the seams these days and is seemingly "the place to be" in the Verse of late!
