Odd things
More strange happenings...
-Not one but two cars were seen driving the streets of RLC, according to a very reliable witness. This witness was nearly run down by them, so please, people, be careful out on the streets! What's next, though - street lights and car dealerships?? Stay tuned...
-Has anyone noticed the question marks, bubbles, and other strange things coming up through the streets? These odd happenings lend credence to the claims of an underworld in RLC...or is it something more sinister...?
-Be careful clicking on friends to get to places, as well. This writer found that out the other night when she clicked to get to Tex's and ended up in the never-never land behind the bar! OK, yes, it was fun floating there for the first five seconds, but after that... :(
-And what is up with our friends list? I am particularly freaked out by seeing friends on my list that are supposed to be in a place I know they aren't, because I'm there and they aren't; in fact, I know they got booted! Are there perhaps ghosts in the machine...?
-The glitches do have their entertaining side, though, as when people appear in a room floating a good six feet off the floor, zip around for a bit, then vanish and reppear for real in the room. Strange entertainment, true, but then again I can be entertained for quite a while eating shrooms and listening to "Purple Haze"...!
-I think, though, the winner for weirdest happening, hands down, has to be the great unknowns. You know...the people who either occasionally or completely appear unknown in a conversation. I especially like when someone has it happen where they go from unknown to avatar name to unknown to avatar name...! Makes you wonder...do we ever really know anyone?
aaagh...too darn deep...think I'll go to Merlin's...!
